On March 1st, 2023, a group of 200 students from Boston Public School were in for an unforgettable experience as they gathered at the Boston Opera House to watch the acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton. One school, in particular, the Phineas Bates Elementary School in Roslindale, MA, had a special encounter with the lead cast member, Aaron Burr, who warmly greeted them upon their arrival.

Blaine Krauss, the actor who plays Aaron Burr, kick-started the evening by taking a selfie with the fifth-graders and spending some time with them before he hit the stage. The students were ecstatic to meet the talented cast member of Hamilton, and the excitement was palpable throughout the event. The Boston Education Fund’s partner organization, Rodman for Kids, generously invited the BPS students to join them for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
